Accounting Data Analyst

Job Description: 

A highly regarded hedge is looking for an accountant with strong technical skills to assist with their tax team with managing their internal database. This candidate will be responsible for assisting the tax team in database management and must have strong excel skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the team’s tax document database within excel
• Reconcile and prepare financial reports
• Track and analyze budget and expenses
• Organize and monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
• Analyze client financial records and inaccuracies

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• At least three years’ experience in financial services
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Sumif formulas)
• Previous experience working with analytical reports
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills

Compensation:

• $90,000 – $125,000
