About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and intellectually curious finance professional to serve as the CFO’s right hand at a leading private equity/venture capital fund. This individual will have direct visibility with the partnership, frequently running presentations at partner meetings, asking thoughtful questions, and taking full ownership of initiatives.
The role is designed for someone hungry, confident, and eager to grow—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to be a key strategic thought partner to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities

Partner Meeting Leadership: Prepare, own, and present materials for quarterly partner meetings; confidently lead discussions and respond to partner questions.

Valuation Oversight: Coordinate with third-party administrators, auditors, and valuation firms to ensure timely, accurate valuations of portfolio companies.

Tax Coordination: Manage all fund- and portfolio-level tax matters in partnership with external advisors, ensuring compliance and proactive planning.

Portfolio Company Analysis: Conduct deep-dive financial analysis on portfolio companies; identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

Special Projects: Lead high-priority strategic initiatives on behalf of the CFO, ranging from process improvements to investment structuring to fundraising support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a central point of communication between the CFO, fund administrators, external advisors, and internal stakeholders.
