Compensation Specialist (Financial Services)
Job Description:
A business consulting partnership located in Midtown, NY, is looking to add a Compensation Manager to their team! Responsibilities of this position include providing market compensation insight to senior leadership, prepare compensation modeling and analysis, and take on major compensation-related projects such as benchmarking and new incentive designs. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in compensation analysis for a well-known financial or professional services firm
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive financial modeling and analysis for company compensation program
- Oversee and manage large-scale initiatives, including, proposing/implementing new incentive programs, system implementations and expanding on compensation strategies
- Create and present large PowerPoint decks for senior management
- Provide consulting services to HR, lines of business and compensation team by researching and analyzing complex compensation issues
- Provide advanced analysis and generate complex reports from large databases; create and manipulate complex databases to manage employee data and competitive compensation data
- Provide counseling and knowledge to employees and C-Suite executives
- Support Job architecture and compensation structure … research, gather and analyze data to determine appropriate salary level and job title for new positions
- Evaluate proposed and existing jobs and classify them in accordance with the levels of importance and responsibility to the organization
- Comparing benefits and compensation plans, job classifications, and salaries through data and cost analyses
Job Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in compensation analysis within professional services
- Expertise in executive and staff level compensation, including hands on administration
- Strong communication, as this individual will be partnering with C-level executives and presenting firm-wide
- A “can-do” attitude, willing to jump into ad-hoc projects whenever needed; strong problem solver
Compensation:
- $90,000 – $110,000
