Investment Banking Associate

A growing alternative asset manager is looking to add an Investment Banking Associate based out of its Midtown Manhattan office. The role offers a great opportunity to join a growing, international fund in a collegial environment. The fund operates on a hybrid basis (3x per week) and compensation is competitive.

 

Responsibilities:

• Crucial role on deal teams across M&A, debt, equity, structured financings, and more
• Heavily involved in relevant financial modeling methodologies (DCF, LBO, CCA, etc.)
• Perform investment due diligence
• Prepare presentation materials and memos
• Ad hoc tasks as needed

 

Prerequisites:

• 2-6 years of relevant experience in FIG investment banking
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• 3.5+ GPA
• Strong financial modeling experience in Excel
• Active FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses are preferred
• Understanding of a front office working environment
