Private Equity Finance Associate
We are exclusively representing a major mid-size private equity firm located in Midtown Manhattan that is creating a new Private Equity Finance Associate position to report directly to the CFO of the organization. Responsibilities include:
- Model performance of funds inclusive of portfolio company valuations, projected returns and creating scenario analysis
- Preparation of quarterly investor capital allocations, financial statements, individual partner capital statements, and capital calls & distributions.
- Lead and coordinate the annual and quarterly budgeting & forecasting for the entire firm. Provide variance analysis
- Work closely with the Owner, COO, Investment team and CFO on new fund strategies. Prepare forecasts for newly launched funds and potential new business opportunities
- Coordinate with Investor Relations on size, terms, management fees and results from prior fund performance
- Coordinate, standardize and continue to improve the quarterly financial reporting close process, working closely with the Fund Administrators.
- Ad-hoc projects within finance that include streamlining reporting, building an investor dashboard and working directly with the Investment (Deal) team.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience
- Audit, Private Equity, Asset Management, Investment Banking and/or Financial Services experience strongly preferred
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Pedigreed Educational Background
- Excellent communication skills

Commensurate is based on experience and is very generous – 100K – 135K base + bonus
